Congratulations Jennifer

My cousin Jennifer was proposed to over the weekend to her then boyfriend Troy. I'm not sure on the details but it was over a romantic dinner Saturday night. Jennifer said yes and the ring (which is very nice) picture is above. Congratulations Jenn, I couldn't be happier for you.

Got A Job

So I got a job. I'll be working at HawaiiUSA federal Credit union starting some time in early February. The company seems like a nice place, I also have a friend who works there so I already know someone. This company is located about 15 to 20 min. walk from my apartment and is nice and close to town. I can still have my morning coffee at the same place I have for the past 4 years...

I'm looking forward to starting as the "vacation" time has gotten a little dull during the days. The nights/weekends have been great though. I've been watching a TV serieas with Melissa and have gone out a few time too. Tonight we (Melissa, Jamie, a friend of Jamie and Me) are headed out. Its always nice hanging out with friends.

The Job

Well I have had a lot of calls and whatnot asking about my job situation. As of right now I have not heard back from them. I'm supposed to hear back by Friday and will post a note here letting everyone know anything as soon as I know anything :-)

Saturday Night Out

I went to Venus with Melissa last night. All the usual dancing crowd couldn't make it and I offered to fill in in the part so i went. The club has a drag show before the dancing starts. I have to say the show was funny to watch. Dancing was alot of fun too. I haven't danced that much in a long time! It's not a club i would go to on my own but i would go again.

Pearl Harbor

Mom in line at Pearl Harbor waiting for the movie to start and head out to the memorial. Beforehand we hiked up Diamond Head, all 271 steps! After we are going to Aloha Tower for lunch and a little shopping. The ladies are going to Ala Moana beach to law out for an hour or so them dinner. Its a nice day out, the sun is shining and there is a little breeze.

Yay, i couldn't be happier than i am right now!!!!!!!! Melissa is back from the main land. We just had dinner and had a nice time catching up with everything that went on over vacation. Missed her bunches and bunches, its hard when friends are gone...

Interview

Well I got up and got prepaired. My interview at HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union was today. The interview process was about an hour of filling out forms and about an hour of actual interview. I think things went well, I left with a good feeling at any rate. The biggest issue is I have to wait till the 15th to know if I got a 2nd interview and or got the job. The company seems nice and it is very close to home, but I can't just wait. I've faxed off a resume to Pacific Guardian Life Insurance who is looking for an entry level programmer too. I'm headed down the CompUSA in a moment to figure out if they got my application.. Its all online now and there is not an easy way to check...
