Half Way To The End

Well, I'm just about half way done with the last week of summer. Its a busy week to, new students asking for directions and help with laptops, and there is a lot of last minute stuff at work that needs done and that's always a lot of fun. A bad call by me mixed in with an incompetent co-worker made for a stressful yesterday afternoon. This morning probably isn't going to go much better. There is an issue with a project that should be dead simple that's just not working...

On a better note, classes start soon and I'm looking forward to them. Its the last semester I have to take before I graduate in January. I've got all my classes and work schedule worked out so its contained from Tuesday to Thursday. The rest of the week is open for homework and fun (I hope).

Saturday Fun

Hanging with friends from work, it's the end of the semestar get together... We all went to Hooters, Melissa was nice enough to come with me. Everyone had a great time. It was nice to hangout with everyone outside of work for a bit.

Detox

I'm at Detox listening to some bands. Everyone is having a good time and enjoying the music. The place isn't overly crowded at all tonight, wich is nice.

Dinner at Melissa's

Jamie resting no Melissa's bed as we all hang out. Melissa had dinner at her place today, grilled Mexican food. Its was really yummy. Everyone got there around 7 and we all hung out around the picnic table, eating good food :-) After we ate all the food and talked away for a bit, we all went up to Melissa's apartment. Orlando is playing his guitar and we're all talking for a bit out on the balcony. Its a good time :-)

Tuesday Dinner

Just finished dinner with Anastasia. Probably gonna catch a movie... Anastasia doesn't want to come cause she has an early morning. Wimp...

Well as it turns out the movie I wanted to see wan't playing after 7:45. Anastasia, Melissa and myself went to Starbucks for a drink and a nice chat :-)

Just Another Day

Today isn't real exciting yet. Basically I got up and did laundry :-) I talked to Anastasia and Melissa for a bit and now I've come to the lab to check my email. Its slow like this because its a short week at work. I don't come in again till Friday. I know... so much excitement :-P Tonight will be alot more fun. I've got dinner at 8 with Anastasia and after that I'm not really sure.

Melissa and I have been going around skateing/biking quite a bit the past week. She talked me into jumping a few steps on my bike. Its not overly difficult, just gotta hang on :-) She did take a nice picture of me though. We were on the side steps of the Blaisdell Center when she took it. Steps are fun, but I'de like to try a little jump (1/2 foot or so)... got to find a nice spot to try it though.

Little Late

I said I would post up a video of Melissa jumping on her snakeboard. Well, this is it. The thing is it was taken on my phone and the quality is not very good at all. Well and it was night time so its a little dark too. Its the excitment of the jump though, she was really happy that she made it. A day or two after this Melissa attempted to jump off a stage. She could do the jump, but not quite land it. Can't falt her though, the stage was 4 times the height of the steps she is jumping here. I have no doubt that she'll get it in time.

One Year!

Its been a GREAT year! Now we can have another. I'm just lucky to have such a good friend.

After Breakfast

I took Anastasia to breakfast today at Denny's. It was a nice time talking and eating :-) After breakfast Anastasia had Jordan meet up with us for a drink at Starbucks. It was nice to talk for a bit. I am trying to plan a dinner night with all of us.

Movie Time

Relaxing at Melissa's place. We rented a movie to watch for the night, She's the Man. We're looking over the nights pictures and videos. Melissa likes the dramatic shots as you can see, at least my socks are clean :-). I like them too though, you should see the funky videos i made...

Good Morning :-)

Its been a few days.., Not much has happened overall, but the big highlight is that Melissa made her first jump with a snakeboard last night. I have a little video of the whole thing, I just need to figure out hor to put it online :-) After work Melissa has called and said she was in the area. We met up and headed to dinner at Aloha Towers. After dinner Melissa desided to attempt her first jump and I was there for the whole thing. It was great!

Today I'm at work doing some updates around the labs and am at the front desk. I texted a bit with Anastasia this morning and we set up a breakfast for Friday morning around 9. I've got to pick the place though and I'm not sure where we should go yet. At least I have some time to find a nice place. Tonight will be alot of fun too. Jamie has invited me and Melissa over for dinner and a movie. She is going to be cooking :-) I'm looking forward to hearing about her trip to Vegas and the concert she went to with her sisters. It will all make for an enjoyable evening.

Fun Friday -- Part 5

Its all dark and fuzzy but its the next to the last part of my Friday night. We are at Bar 35 enjoying a few drinks. There is Anastasia, Melissa, Stacy and myself. It was nice to all hangout and talk for a bit. Everyone is nice and relaxed. Right now we are headed to Jack In The Box for a bite to eat then its time to drop everyone off.

Fun Friday -- Part 4

Crazy fun day... Anastasia, Melissa and I are at Brian's playing pool. None of us are very good but thats ok. We are all having fun playing and talking. Makes for a good evening. After here we are thinking me heading to town to into Indigos for a few drinks.

Dinner time and its late but its Anastasia's B-Day dinner. I desided to embarasse her as much as I could. I got them to sing and give her a balloon. She turned a nice shade red. She liked her presents i got her too...

Fun Friday -- Part 2

I really can't play the drums at all, but I tried. Melissa thinks I did good for my first time but I'm not sure about that... It is definately fun playing though. Listening to her play its amazing, even on the kids set.

Fun Friday -- Part 1

I popped in to see Melissa today. She was at the skate park 2 seconds from my place. I brought her a Rockstar drink and watched her skate for a bit. We ended up back at her place for a little while.

A Last Min. Hangout

Melissa texted me so i came over to her place for a bit. We talked for a couple of hours about a bunch of stuff. At the end she played her new 50 dollar drums for me. They are just a tiny kids set but its still fun. She couldn't play long cause of the time, but even on the little set she is quite good.

Wednesday Already

This week is moving by quickly. Its been nice, but nothing to big has been happening. Last night Chris called me up, he, Melissa and I went to see a movie. After the movie Melissa and I chatted for a bit and then home I went. The bike ride at night was nice, not many cars on the road and its quite. Today is a full work day, 8 to 5 for me. Things were a little slow at the moment so here I am. Not much more right now. The only firm plans I got for the rest of the week is dinner and a movie with Anastasia on Friday.

Easy Day

Its an easy going day today. I've caught up on some emails and started work about a half an hour ago. The weekend was relaxing and not to stressed. Friday was First Friday so Melissa, Will and I met up to walk around. We went to Indigos, had 2 drinks and then walked around a few galleries. I headed home after that, Melissa and Will headed off to Detox for awhile. First Friday is always a nice evening, I always have a good time with friends, just got to remember to walk around before going into a bar :-)

Saturday was Anastasia's birthday. I talked to her a bit, said happy birthday and stuff. Jordan had a nice big day planned for the two of them. From what I heard it was a good day for her. We've got to meet up still so I can give her a present and a hug :-) I had plans to go to the movies with Jamie in the late afternoon, we were going to see Clerks II. It didn't work out, she couldn't make it, so I went riding my bike for a bit around Ala Moana. That's about for this weekend, I know not to terribly exciting...

Good Times

Well as you see from my last post Anastasia and I were waiting for our table. The dinner was really quite nice. I had Porkchops and she had Orange Chicken. If you never have eaten at Cheesecake Factory, um... the plates are huge. We both had leftovers :-)

We got to sit in the outside area so we had a nice brease going. The torches were lit along the railings and it made for a nice atmosphere. The only drawback to this was when the wind kicked up we got little glowing red sparks flying over our heads.

Earlyier in the day I was out and about riding my bike. The day itself was more like Pittsburgh than Hawaii. It was nice, overcast grey skys. The tempurature was still very comfortable though and there were even some people out in the ocean. The waters were a bit rought but they seems to be having a good time anyways.


You can see Diamond Head and the hotels along Waikiki. The oceans were a bit white and choppy yesterday.


This is Ala Moana Beach Park at about 3pm. As you can see not many people out and about today.

Ahh The Waiting

I'm waiting outside Cheesecake Factory for our table with Anartasia. A 20 min wait has been 45 so far... Sometimes i don't like the tourists.
